Soirée de droit du sport of the Association Suisse de Droit du Sport (ASDS) on 24/04/2018
Zurich, Doping, CAS: The Association Suisse de Droit du Sport (ASDS, in German language: Schweizerische Sportrechtsvereinigung) came together on the 24th of April 2018 for another Soirée de droit du sport at Michele Bernasconi’s Law Firm (Bär & Karrer AG). This leading Swiss association on Sports Law was founded in 1990.
Matteo Suckow started with his short presentation on a new SFT-decision regarding the jurisdiction of CAS.
Then it was up to Dr. Dominik Kocholl to talk about the new development in doping and the challenges for stakeholders as well as the Court of Arbitration for Sport togehter with its Ad hoc division at the PYEONGCHANG 2018 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES.
Systematic Doping not only but also in Russia: CAS-Decisions regarding Individual and Collective Sanctions, Ineligibilities, Non-Invitations
As his presentation was given in German language, the title was set out as follows: “Systematisches Doping ua in Russland: CAS-Entscheidungen zu individuellen und kollektiven Sanktionen / Ineligibilities / Nichteinladungen”.
Doping is a global problem with new and unprecedented issues to be solved.
